Well, another couple of weeks have passed & it blows my mind how fast it truly went!
Last weekend, Emma & I picked up my grandmother in Luverne & drove to Jackson for Bethany's final dance recital! I can't believe that I've seen her dance so many years and it's over just like that! She was so graceful up on that stage plus, the 13 seniors danced to a song that mentioned, "someday he's going to ask for my hand," or something like that!! I lost it! My first "baby" is growing up:(
This Easter candy "thing" is right up Harper's alley! She's digging all these baskets she gets with "nandy" inside!
Her latest accomplishment, is saying "Oh no" and walking in circles and/or backwards! She's a pro going down stairs on her belly & even went down on her backside tonight! We love it when she stands at the top of the stairs & yells "EMMMA"
Emma went to her dad's for the weekend, so our "Easter pictures" are actually Palm Sunday last week!
We spent a quiet weekend running much needed errands and on Sunday, Eric's parents came for a great steak dinner - the newest Easter tradition in our house! I don't like Ham, so it was a win win for everyone!
Harper enjoyed wearing daddy's hat, while watching Dora in the office.
This is a picture of Emma's dance class. They will have their last recital next weekend. They had pictures last Monday night. Emma is almost in the middle on her knees, if you can't find her!
I am currently trying to upload pictures to get developed. This is something I haven't done since I got my new camera at Christmas & I believe I have something like 600 pictures..ugh
I wanted to get them uploaded so I can clear the memory card for our upcoming weekend vacation to the Black Hills/Mount Rushmore!! So excited to get away for a few days!
Tomorrow is Eric's & my 3rd wedding anniversary!! It's hard to believe it's been 3 years, but they've been great ones!! He bought me a Nook (electronic book) and I bought him a pair of new Oakley Sunglasses. We went to dinner last week, just the two of us and a movie!! It was very special. I'm hoping once my sister comes out next fall, we can bribe her to watch the girls once a week and we can get back some alone time for dates!!
I think Emma only has 18 days of school left!! Then, next year, she will be attending Whittier Middle school!! Yikes!! How does that happen?? I can feel the grey hairs growing!
Hope this finds you all well..until next time..
