Cancellations

Well, we found out at around 3:00 on Thursday that Miley Cyrus was cancelling her Omaha show due to Strep throat!! UGH We had a non-refundable $150 hotel room on Friday night about 1/2 mile from the arena. So, we ended up going down there Friday afternoon!

I picked Emma up from school & we loaded in the car. Harper fell asleep around Vermillion & slept the whole way down there!! We got stuck in SO much road construction & a huge rock flew into my window so now I have a huge rock chip in my windshield! I could see the rock coming, it was that big! So I've decided Miley owes me a new windshield for the inconvenience! Oh well, turns out she cancelled Sat & Sunday's concerts also. The concert is rescheduled for Oct 13th.. Yes, this is a school night & was supposed to be the travel day back from Milwaukee! So instead, we will leave WI Monday night, drive the night back and Eric will sleep Tuesday! He does have a dr's appt on Tuesday morning to remove a cyst from his shoulder! Please pray it's not cancerous!

We met Eric's friend, Jason down in Omaha Friday night. We all went to dinner, where Harper just sat and watched us eat (what a trooper!) Sleeping in a hotel room with Harper was very interesting! She's a loud sleeper, so we put her in the closet (no, the door wasnt' shut) so we could sleep! We had a two room suite, so Emma was fine! I took Emma swimming in the morning & daddy got to deal with his grossest poopy diaper yet! Ha ha

Time to get the cinnamon rolls out of the oven & start getting ready for church! Our big trip to Wisconsin to see Paul & Jen is this week! We're all SO excited!! Harper is doing well in the car, so we're hoping to work out the driving to her sleep schedule! Wish us luck! A 7 hour car ride with an 8 week old...
