This blog will mostly consist of the shenanigan's de Harper. She has been in her prime, as of late! She's been an absolute turkey! Here is how she now sits in the recliner! Maxin' & relaxin'.
One Saturday, Harper put her Elmo chair up in the recliner to hang out! Imagine my surprise when I saw this!
Evenings before bed, Harper gets an ice cream cup. At the end, she shares the remainder with Montana! Lucky puppy! They both enjoy it!
Finally, the main reason this is titled Turkey. If you aren't paying attention, Harper will take Montana's food and put it into his water dish! I can't tell you how many times this has happened!! Neither of us understand the fasination with this "game," but she loves to do it! When the food bits sit in the water dish, they expand and it's like islands in the poor dogs dish! UGH
The kids are enjoying the summer. Emma is grounded for lying (don't worry, we gave her PLENTY of warnings before the hammer came down), so there isn't much to write about with her. She's grounded from pretty much everything until mid July! This out to be tough, considering she is SO busy in July! Camps and field trips & going places to visit!
Harper is flourishing with speaking. She speaks really well for an almost 23 month old! She uses lots of words & can count (sometimes) to 4! We, of course, think she's very smart! She still loves to watch Dora (Spanish video) and "Babies." She's very friendly to strangers, always saying, "Love you," when we leave, even at the Pizza Ranch & Hy-Vee! We have to explain that she says that to everyone! The one thing she's not tackling yet, much to my dismay, is potty training:(
We are all very excited to go visit Paul & Jen in less than 2 weeks! We're going for a 5 day vacation to meet our new nephew/cousin Joshua Dean who will be 4 weeks old by the time we get there. Once we get back from seeing them, Bethany & I will go to Kansas City for our first ever Sister's weekend. This will be our first trip, or really any plans, together! I think we're both looking forward to that!
