Play date!

Last Saturday, Harper had her very first play date! My friend Becky has a little boy who is 7 months old & we've already pre-destined Harper & Oliver to marry! They were so cute! He's got a few pounds on Harper already:) He's a big boy & they were very intrigued by each other.

Bethany was here last weekend as well and we had a nice time shopping. She's such a nice young lady. Hard to believe she will be a senior next year! She volunteered to watch the girls Saturday night & Eric & I spent the night out togehter! It was so nice. We went to Spezia (Italian) for dinner & then to a movie! We hadn't been to a movie since the night before I had Harper! That used to be something we did often, so after 3 months, we were ready for a night together!

Let's see, what's new with Harper this week? She started trying to pull herself up & sit when she's lying on you. Before we know it, she'll be sitting up!! She did start sleeping all night again! YA. But I'm trying to keep her up until at least 8 at night. That way, she can stretch it until 6 a.m!

Harper's eyes are definately turning brown! The tops of her irises are brown streaked. Pretty soon we can sing "My brown eyed girl" to her!!

Yesterday, we had Thanksgiving at my grandma's in Edgerton. It was a nice time where we get to see some of my aunts & uncles, as well as my brother & his family. Harper got passed around quite a bit, so she was ready to go home & fell asleep around 7:30 last night. Emma had a sleepover, so she didn't get much sleep last night!

Here is a photo of Harper with my niece Evelina, who was born Jan 28. We thought Harper looked so very long, so we compared her to Evi. Evi was definately longer, but considering the age difference...we're going to have to call Harper "stretch"

We will be spending Thanksgiving day with Eric's parents on Thursday and then drive to my mom's 25 miles away to drop the girls off there. They will be going to my grandfather's fro the day & drive home to watch the girls on Friday. Eric & I both have to work & don't have daycare.

I hope you all have a great week & a safe Thanksgiving!! This picture is for aunt Jen. Harper's wearing her Brewers outfit today! The hat was a little big, but we got the shirt & bib on today, along with her bib overalls! How cute is she?? She wasn't so happy in the picture, but I needed to take the picture before Emma's dad came to get her for the day!
